| "A Concept in a Bag" by Mary Ellen Hopkins
An extreme graphic look Approximately 46 by 50-inches with borders. (For a quilter with some patchwork experience)
Patches by the batch
Mary Ellen Hopkins has been a major innovator in the quilting world for more than 30 years. And her concepts work as well today as the day she first introduced them.
A concept she talks about over and over is - When you're tired and can't think - just make little 4-patches, cutting 1 1/4-inch strips and putting a light with a dark. Then, Always keep batches of 4-patches in baggies so, when you feel creative, you're ready to go. "Charlie" is the result of a such a batch of 4-patches.
